How do post-farm value chain actors engage in pollinator conservation? VALOR at IFSA 2026
VALOR partners from Wageningen University attended the IFSA 2026 conference, Farming and Agri-Food Systems Dynamics: Facing Crises and Trade-offs in Transition Pathways, held in Montpellier, France between 29 June and 3 July 2026. There, they presented preliminary results from their research on how post-farm value chain actors see pollinator conservation and how they engage in it.
The presentation was part of a session on “Socio-economic Valuation and Co-Design Pathways for Pollinator Stewardship in European Farming Systems.” The session also brought together researchers from pollinator projects Butterfly, RestPoll, ProPollSoil and AGRI4POL. It was a chance to share ideas and strengthen links between projects working to protect pollinators across Europe.
